  • 12,500 spectators will be allowed into the WWK Arena on matchday five of the Bundesliga. Borussia have been allocated 843 tickets, which have all been sold.

  • The two teams have met 21 times in the Bundesliga, and so far they can’t be separated. Each have six wins to their name and eight draws.
  • VBorussia have only won once from ten attempts away at Augsburg in the Bundesliga. At the end of February 2020 The Foals won 3-2 at the WWK Arena, after a goal from Ramy Bensebaini and a Lars Stindl brace. Eduard Löwen and Alfred Finnbogason scored for the hosts.

Lainer and Elvedi back on the training pitch

On Tuesday morning, Borussia kicked off their preparations for their Bundesliga game at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday (15:30 CEST). Although Stefan Lainer and Nico Elvedi were able to train with the team, eight other players were missing with illness or injury.
