DFL schedule Bundesliga matchdays 22 to 27

The DFL (German Football League) released the fixtures for matchdays 22 to 27 of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season at Friday lunchtime. Borussia will play four of the six games on a Saturday, also being assigned one Friday and one Sunday timeslot.

The schedule for all the games until Borussia’s away tip to Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday, 5th February (15:30 CET) had already been confirmed. The next six matchdays have now followed, nailing down the fixture list through to mid-March.

Matchday 22 sees the Foals welcome FC Augsburg to BORUSSIA-PARK on Saturday, 12th February (15:30 CET). Eight days later, a Sunday fixture is on the cards away at Borussia Dortmund on 20th February (17:30 CET). Gladbach return home and to Saturday for VfL Wolfsburg’s visit on 26th February (15:30 CET), before two primetime Saturday 18:30 CET games follow on matchdays 25 and 26 against VfB Stuttgart (5th March) and Hertha BSC (12th March) respectively. The final confirmed fixture will see the Foals kick off matchday 27 with a trip to Bochum on Friday, 18th March (20:30 CET).

Borussia reports second-highest turnover for 2023

During the annual general meeting for club members on Monday, 22nd March, Borussia chief executive Stephan Schippers gave his financial report for 2023. The club’s approximately €199.8 million of turnover is around €22 million more than last year.
