Match facts ahead of #BMGSGE

Everything to know ahead of the Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening (18:30 CEST).

  • This will be the 97th Bundesliga meeting between Borussia and Eintracht. The Eagles narrowly have the edge, having won 35 times to Borussia’s 33 (D28).
  • The previous 96 matches between the sides have seen a total of 293 goals scored – 147 by the Foals and 146 by the Eagles, at an average of 3.05 per game.

Tony Jantschke to retire from professional football

Tony Jantschke will hang up his boots at the end of the current season. The 34-year-old, who first joined Gladbach in 2006, will remain at the club in a non-playing capacity.
