Conor Noß joins Blau-Weiß Linz

The 22-year-old has signed for the Austrian club until 2025

Conor Noß has joined the newly promoted Austrian Bundesliga side Blau-Weiß Linz on a deal until 2025. “Conor is a true homegrown player, who has been with Borussia since the U9s and has matured into a professional. He is rightly immortalised in the dressing room corridor with the jersey in which he made his Bundesliga debut on display. He wants to get first team football every week which is why he has joined Linz. We want to thank Conor for all his accomplishments at Borussia and we wish him all the best at his new club,” said sporting director Roland Virkus.

At the tender age of 8, Conor joined the Borussia U9s from Sportfreunde Vorst and progressed through the youth ranks. He scored 8 goals in 72 appearances in the Regionalliga West for the U23s. He then featured 3 times in the Bundesliga during the 2021/22 season. The jersey in which he made his Bundesliga debut against Greuther Fürth on 20th November 2021 (4-0) now hangs in the BORUSSIA-PARK corridor which connects the first team and youth team dressing rooms. At the time, Noß was the 27th talent to come through the Foals’ youth system and make his debut for the first team since the move to the new stadium in 2004.
