Foals looking to a show a different side to themselves in Wolfsburg

On Tuesday afternoon, the Foals kicked off their preparations for next Sunday’s (17:30 CEST) Bundesliga away game at VfL Wolfsburg.

“We’re being very critical of ourselves in this situation, but we’re also searching for ways to improve and looking ahead,” said Borussia head coach Gerardo Seoane after the start of this week of training. Seoane was pleased with his team’s application in the 90-minute training session: “Despite all the disappointment from the Freiburg game, they showed good energy on the training pitch from the start. There are things we’ll discuss this week and work to improve on in training, so that we can show a different side to ourselves in Wolfsburg on Sunday.”

Apart from Manu Koné (thigh strain), every Borussia player was back out on the training pitch. Nico Elvedi (muscle problems) however worked individually. His involvement at the weekend shouldn’t be in jeopardy though. On both Wednesday and Friday, Seoane’s side will train at 11:00 CEST. Spectators will be welcome at both of these sessions, as well as at the talent training at 15:00 CEST on Wednesday. On Thursday (11:00 CEST) and Saturday (11:30 CEST), the Foals will train behind closed doors.

“We’re being very critical of ourselves in this situation, but we’re also searching for ways to improve and looking ahead,” said Borussia head coach Gerardo Seoane.
