Hofmann is Borussia’s Player of the Month for October

Borussia fans have voted Jonas Hofmann as their October Player of the Month. The attacking midfielder beat off competition from Alassane Plea, Marcus Thuram and Hannes Wolf to win the vote, presented by Cichon Personalmanagement.

Jonas Hofmann won the fan’s second Player of the Month vote for the new season. The vote, presented by Cichon Personalmanagement, saw 67% of fans select the 28-year-old over Alassane Plea (15%), Marcus Thuram (15%) and Hannes Wolf (3%).

Hofmann was in fine form in October, winning three Man of the Match awards. He scored from the spot in the 1-1 draw against VfL Wolfsburg, put the Foals 2-1 up away at Inter Milan and also changed the game from off the bench in the 3-2 Bundesliga win at 1. FSV Mainz 05. With his side 2-1 down, he equalised (76’) and then assisted Matthias Ginter’s winning goal to turn it around for Borussia.
