Bundesliga matchdays 13-15 scheduled

The DFL announced the dates and times for three more Bundesliga matchdays on Friday (13/11). The DFB also scheduled the second round of the DFB-Pokal today.

The Foals now know their schedule for matchdays 13-15 in the Bundesliga. They will play twice on a Saturday and once on a Friday night during this period.

The final Bundesliga game of 2020 for Gladbach is at home to TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday, 19th December (15:30 CET). After a shortened winter break, the Foals will be back in action on Saturday, 3rd January (15:30 CET) away to Arminia Bielefeld. Marco Rose’s men will then host FC Bayern on Friday, 8th January (20:30 CET) at BORUSSIA-PARK. The final games of the first half of the season at VfB Stuttgart (15-17th January) and against Werder Bremen (19-20th January) have not yet been scheduled.

DFB-Pokal match on a Tuesday in Elversberg

The draw for the second round was made last Sunday and the DFB have now announced when these games shall take place. Gladbach’s second-round game at SV Elversberg will be played on Tuesday, 22nd December (20:45 CET). This will be Borussia’s first ever clash with Elversberg, who are currently sitting third in the Regionalliga Südwest (fourth tier) after 12 matchdays.

Emotional send offs for Jantschke and Herrmann

Any lingering doubts about Borussia not remaining in the Bundesliga next season have dissolved away following the 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt. The match against Frankfurt was also marked by send-offs for Tony Jantschke and Patrick Herrmann.

Borussia and Frankfurt share the points in a hard-fought encounter

On Matchday 33 of the Bundesliga, Borussia drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their final home game of the season. Eric Dina Ebimbe cancelled out Robin Hack’s early opener.
