Trio of Foals called up to Germany's EURO squad

Matthias Ginter, Florian Neuhaus and Jonas Hofmann have all been called up by Joachim Löw for this summer's European Championship (11th June-11th July).

Head coach Joachim Löw announced his squad today (19/05), which will include Matthias Ginter, Florian Neuhaus and Jonas Hofmann. "It's amazing for me to be called up for a major tournament for the first time. I've only been playing for the team for a short time. This call up shows the potential the coach sees in me," said Hofmann. 

Löw's side will meet for a training camp on 28th May in Seefeld, Austria. Germany will take part in two friendlies ahead of the EUROs, facing Denmark on Wednesday, 2nd June (21:00 CEST) and Latvia on Monday, 7th June (20:45 CEST). The team will then begin their EURO campaign on Tuesday, 15th June (21:00 CEST) against France. They will then face Portugal on Saturday, 19th June (18:00 CEST) and Hungary on Wednesday, 23rd June (21:00 CEST).
