Seven Foals involved in pre-EUROs friendlies

Several Borussia Mönchengladbach players are involved in friendlies on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of the fast-approaching European Championship this summer.

For Germany, Matthias Ginter, Florian Neuhaus and Jonas Hofmann have been away at the DFB training camp in Seefeld for five days. “We’re using this training camp to train specific aspects of our gameplan and to familiarise ourselves with our tactics in order to be as prepared as possible for the EUROs,” reports Jonas Hofmann (photo: imago/Schüler). Germany take on Denmark in a friendly on Wednesday night in Innsbruck (21:00 CEST).

Kicking off at the same time are Marcus Thuram and France who play Wales in Nice, while Austria take on England in Middlesbrough with Stefan Lainer and Valentino Lazaro in the squad. László Bénes and Slovakia are in action on Tuesday evening against Bulgaria in Ried, Austria (18:00 CEST).

A further friendly involving Foals is underway in Marbella, Spain, where the Australian Olympic team and Jacob Italiano are playing Ireland U21s, who have Conor Noß in their squad.
