Vote for your Player of the Season

Eight players are up for the award, which is presented by Cichon Personalmanagement. Voting is open now in the FohlenApp.

Patrick Herrmann, Jonas Hofmann, Florian Neuhaus, Lars Stindl, Nico Elvedi, Ramy Bensebaini, Tobias Sippel or Oscar Wendt – which of the eight players will follow on from 2020 winner Marcus Thuram to claim Borussia’s Player of the Season award? You can help to decide by voting now in the FohlenApp for who you think should win the Player of the Season award.

An intense season for the Foals, which included 34 Bundesliga games, four DFB-Pokal games and eight Champions League meetings has come to an end. In each of the past nine months, you, the fans, voted one Foal as winner of the Player of the Month award.

August’s winner was Patrick Herrmann, before Jonas Hofmann in October. In November, Florian Neuhaus picked up the most votes. Captain Lars Stindl won the award twice – in December and February. Nico Elvedi was January’s Player of the Month, while Ramy Bensebaini and Tobias Sippel won in March and April respectively. Fittingly, the departing Oscar Wendt was voted winner of the final Player of the Month award of the season in May.

These eight players are up against each other in the voting for Borussia’s Player of the Season. Voting is open between now and midnight on Sunday 6th June in the FohlenApp. Starting Wednesday, we will take a closer look at two of the eight nominees each day and look back on their seasons.
