DFL schedules matchdays 14-21
The DFL announced the schedule for matchdays 14-21 of this Bundesliga season on Thursday afternoon. Borussia will play five times on a Saturday, and once on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The fixtures up until the upcoming derby with 1. FC Köln had already been scheduled, with the DFL now announcing the exact dates and times for the following eight matchdays. During this period, the Foals will play five times on a Saturday, and once on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The first of these matchdays will see Gladbach host SC Freiburg on matchday 14 on Sunday, 5th December (17:30 CET). A week later, the Foals are away at RB Leipzig on Saturday, 11th December (15:30 CET). That match is followed by a midweek fixture at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, 15th December (18:30 CET) and a trip to play TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday, 18th December (15:30 CET) in the final match of the calendar year.
After the winter break, the Foals will kick off the second half of the season with an away game at FC Bayern on matchday 18 on Friday, 7th January (20:30 CET). Following that, Adi Hütter’s team will enjoy two consecutive home games against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday, 15th January (18:30 CET) and 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday, 22nd January (15:30 CET). The last game scheduled is matchday 21’s visit to Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday, 5th February (15:30 CET).
