For the third edition of the UEFA Nations League, the Germany men’s national team will play their home games in Munich, Mönchengladbach and Leipzig.
In June, BORUSSIA-PARK will host the Germany national team for the eighth time. Hansi Flick’s side will take on European champions Italy in the Nations-League on the 14th June (20:45 CET) at the stadium in Mönchengladbach. “We are excited to be hosting the national team for the eighth time at BORUSSIA-PARK,” said Borussia Chief Executive Stephan Schippers. “It may be the most attractive international game we have had at BORUSSIA-PARK so far – it’s against a significant opponent and it’s also a competitive game in the Nations League. We’re really looking forward to it.”
Germany will first face off against European Championship finalists England on the 7th June at the Allianz Arena in Munich, before playing Hungary at Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena on the 23rd September.
The national team played each of their three home games last summer at UEFA EURO 2020 in Munich. Last time they took to the field in Mönchengladbach was in November 2019 for a 4-0 Euros qualifying win against Belarus, and in November 2020 they played in Leipzig as they beat Ukraine 3-1 in the UEFA Nations League.
Germany kick off the World Cup year on the 26th March in Sinsheim against Israel, before going to Amsterdam to play the Netherlands on the 29th March.
