Thuram is Gladbach’s Player of the Month for October

Marcus Thuram has been named as Gladbach’s Player of the Month for October. The attacker won the vote presented by Cichon Personalmanagement ahead of two of his teammates.

Marcus Thuram is Borussia’s Player of the Month for October! The Frenchman picked up the award, presented by Cichon Personalmanagement, after winning 67% of the vote. He was ahead of Ramy Bensebaini, who won 20% of the vote and Nico Elvedi, who won 13%.

“Tikus” was in outstanding form in October. He scored in four of Gladbach’s Bundesliga matches against Bremen, Köln, Frankfurt and Wolfsburg (x2). With eight Bundesliga goals so far this season, he is only behind Christopher Nkunku and Niclas Füllkrug in the race for the golden boot. He was also Player of the Match on two occasions in October. “Marcus has all the attributes you need to be a top striker. He is currently in outstanding form,” said head coach Daniel Farke after Thuram’s brace against Wolfsburg.
