3-0 friendly win against Hallescher FC

Borussia beat Hallescher FC in their final friendly ahead of the summer break. A brace from Patrick Herrmann and a second-half goal from Alassane Plea sealed a 3-0 win for the Foals.

Nearly 9,000 spectators were in attendance at the LEUNA-CHEMIE-STADION, including several Borussia fans, to watch as the Foals stormed to an early lead against Hallescher FC. Patrick Herrmann opened the scoring early on (7’) before adding a second minutes later (13’). The hosts found their way into the game midway through the first half, but were unable to make the most of their chances. After the break, Alassane Plea would add to Borussia’s lead. Neither side would create much in the minutes that followed, with both teams choosing to make several substitutions. In the end, the Foals were able to celebrate a 3-0 win in their final friendly ahead of the summer break.
