Bundesliga schedule announced – Borussia start against Augsburg

The DFL announced the schedule for the 2023/24 Bundesliga season on Friday morning. Borussia will kick off their campaign away from home against FC Augsburg (19th/20th August).

After the away match against the Függerstädter, the Foals have two home games in a row: first against Bayer Leverkusen (25th-27th August), then against FC Bayern München (1st-3rd September). After the first of three international breaks in the first half of the season, the Foals will play SV Darmstadt 98 (15th-17th September).

The derby away at 1. FC Köln takes place on Matchday 8 (20th-22nd October), with the Borussia duel against BVB on Matchday 12 (24th-26th November). The Foals will close out the calendar year on matchday 16 away at Eintracht Frankfurt (19th/20th December), following which the Bundesliga will take a three-week winter break. The second half of the season starts on 12th-14th January 2024 with Matchday 17, when the Foals host VfB Stuttgart. Borussia will end the Bundesliga season on 18th May 2024 away from home against Stuttgart.
