The Foals prepare for blockbuster against Bayern München

Borussia will host FC Bayern München in their third Bundesliga fixture of the season at BORUSSIA-PARK this Saturday at 18:30 CEST. The team began their preparations for the clash this Tuesday afternoon.

“Our sole focus is on developing as a team, so we have reviewed the match against Leverkusen and pinpointed key areas for improvement,” shared head coach Gerado Seoane. “We knew that our first few fixtures would be challenging, and Bayern will likely be the toughest.” The team began their preparations for the clash this Tuesday afternoon, with Fabio Chiarodia (slight muscle strain), Luca Netz (knock), Christoph Kramer and Manu Koné (both rehab after knee injuries) missing from proceedings. Max Wöber and Joe Scally are also currently sitting out with a cold, with Nico Elvedi undertaking an individual session due to load management. The session also saw U23s players Tony Reitz and Phil Kemper called up to first-team training.

Seoane and the team will train together three more times prior to the fixture against FC Bayern: 10:30 CEST on both Wednesday (behind closed doors) and Thursday (open to public viewing), as well as Friday at 11:00 CEST (behind closed doors). Individual training will also take place for the players on Wednesday afternoon.

Brothers Tony and Rocco Reitz get stuck in during training.
