Borussia will travel to Saarland to face 1. FC Saarbrücken in the DFB-Pokal quarter-final

The Foals have been drawn against third-tier side 1. FC Saarbrücken for the quarter-final of the DFB-Pokal, which will take place on either 30th-31st January or 6th-7th February. That was the result of the draw which took place in the German football museum in Dortmund on Sunday.

Last Tuesday, Borussia booked their place in the quarter-finals of the cup through a last-minute winner in extra time against VfL Wolfsburg (1-0). The Foals were drawn an away tie against third-division side 1. FC Saarbrücken by former Germany international Jens Nowotny, under the supervision of the coach of the Germany U17 World Cup winning side Christian Wück.

The quarter-final ties will take place on either 30th-31st January or 6th-7th February, therefore sandwiching the 20th Bundesliga Matchday (2nd/3rd/4th February). The exact dates are usually announced a few days after the draw.

Borussia to visit FC Erzgebirge Aue in the first round of the DFB-Pokal

The Foals will visit FC Erzgebirge Aue in the first round of the 2024/25 DFB-Pokal. The match will be played between 16th and 19th August. The draw took place on Saturday evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund.
