Winter break plan: return to training on January 2nd

Following the away fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt, the Foals are now on their winter break. The preparation for the second half of the season will begin on Tuesday, 2nd January. Four days later, Borussia will face Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles in a friendly.

The Foals are on their winter break and will spend Christmas and New Year with their loved ones. They will have almost two weeks' time to recharge their batteries, before returning to team training on Tuesday, 2nd January (10:30 CET) at BORUSSIA-PARK, in order to start their preparations for the second half of the season.

Just four days later, Borussia will play their first and only friendly match during this short preparation period. On Saturday, 6th January (13:00 CET), the Foals will host Go Ahead Eagles from Deventer in the Netherlands. The game will be played on one of the pitches at BORUSSIA-PARK, but which pitch that will be is dependent on weather conditions and can therefore not be decided until January.

Gladbach's first competitive game of the year will be against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday, 14th January (17:30 CET), before playing FC Augsburg at home on Sunday, 21st January (17:30 CET).
