Friedrich: “It’s down to us”
In this interview, Marvin Friedrich speaks about the final two games of the season, his form and the support from the Gladbach fans.
On Tuesday morning, the Borussia squad took to the training pitches to begin preparations for the final game of the season against SV Werder Bremen (Saturday 15:30 CEST).
In four days' time, the Bundesliga season will come to an end. The Foals face a trip to Bremen. "Everyone knows what is at stake in this final game," said head coach Marco Rose. "Werder have changed head coach ahead of it so they will be playing differently. We will concentrate on our own game, though. We need to pull together one last time and try and win the game."
Still in their quarantine training camp at the H4 Hotel in BORUSSIA-PARK, the Foals got to work on Tuesday morning. Aside from Torben Müsel (recovery training) and Mamadou Doucouré (surgery recovery), every other player was fit to train. Not wasting any time, the focus of the session was on details relating to the weekend’s task in the Weserstadion. "The lads worked well and completed the drills nicely," said Rose, who has planned another three sessions for the week.
