Overview of the goals:

Goal 1: Florian Neuhaus (Bundesliga 20/21, Borussia – FC Bayern 3-2)

In the first home game of the year, the Foals came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat FC Bayern 3-2. The winning goal in a dramatic match was scored by Florian Neuhaus in the 49th minute. Borussia won the ball back via some aggressive pressing and Jonas Hofmann gave the ball to Neuhaus on the edge of the box. He turn curled it into the top corner beautifully.

Goal 2: Ramy Bensebaini (Bundesliga 20/21: Borussia BVB 3-2)

Borussia defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-2 at home on matchday 24. Ramy Bensebaini put the Foals ahead in the 50th minute as he beat Julian Brandt, cut inside and bent it past the goalkeeper from a tight angle to make it 3-2.

Goal 3: Marcus Thuram (DFB-Pokal round of 16, 20/21: Stuttgart – Borussia 1-1)

Borussia reached the quarterfinals of the DFB-Pokal by winning 2-1 at VfB Stuttgart. Marcus Thuram scored the equaliser just before half time, coming back inside on his left foot and firing it into the far corner.

Goal 4: Breel Embolo (Bundesliga 20/21: Borussia – Bielefeld 4-0)

Gladbach thumped Arminia Bielefeld 5-0 at home on matchday 31 in the Bundesliga. Breel Embolo was the standout performer, scoring twice. Some stunning one-touch football culminated in Embolo slotting home for the fourth goal of the afternoon.

Goal 5: Lars Stindl (Bundesliga 20/21: Bremen – Borussia 0-1)

The final game of the 20/21 season saw the Foals win 4-2 at SV Werder Bremen. Captain Lars Stindl opened the scoring after just three minutes. A great move was rounded off by Stindl’s low finish into the corner from a Lainer delivery.

Goal 6: Denis Zakaria (Bundesliga 21/22: Borussia – BVB 1-0)

The primetime Bundesliga matchday 6 encounter between Gladbach and Dortmund was won 1-0 by the Foals. Denis Zakaria got the all-important goal in the 37th minute. He intercepted the ball 25 yards out and then played a one-two with Matthias Ginter. After a bit of ping-pong involving Jude Bellingham, the ball fell back at Zakaria’s feet and he struck it past Kobel.

Goal 7: Breel Embolo (Bundesliga 21/22: Wolfsburg – Borussia 0-1)

Borussia ran out 3-1 winners away at VfL Wolfsburg on matchday 7 in 21/22. Breel Embolo’s overhead kick a few yards out gave the Foals the lead after five minutes from Denis Zakaria’s volley.

Goal 8: Jonas Hofmann (Bundesliga 21/22: Borussia – Stuttgart 1-1)

Another primetime game saw another special goal by a Gladbach player on matchday 8. Borussia drew 1-1 with VfB Stuttgart thanks to Jonas Hofmann’s exceptional equaliser. Konstantinos Mavropanos headed the ball out of the box, but only directly to the Germany international. He took one touch and then unleashed a powerful strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Goal 9: Ramy Bensebaini (DFB-Pokal second round, 21/22: Borussia – FC Bayern 2-0)

Gladbach incredibly hammered record winners FC Bayern 5-0 in the DFB-Pokal to reach the round of 16. The best goal of the night was scored by Ramy Bensebaini after a quarter of an hour. A fine move involving Joe Scally, Embolo and Hofmann eventually gave the Algerian the chance to run onto a ball across the box, and he then buried it past Neuer.

Goal 10: Florian Neuhaus (Bundesliga 21/22: Borussia – Fürth 2-0)

The Foals beat the side bottom of the league, Greuther Fürth, 4-0 on matchday 12. Florian Neuhaus made it 2-0 from long range, taking advantage of a poor clearance by goalkeeper Marius Fink. Neuhaus hit it straight away into the empty goal from around 30 yards out.
